Hi! I am Ceylan Ayik, I am passionate about empowering women going through hormonal changes in their 40s, to transform their mind, body and spirit through delicious and healthy nutrition, yoga, meditation and Ayurveda.
After working 15 years in corporate life, where I was feeling exhausted, heavy, bloated-gassy, with habits like coffee, carbonated drinks, alcohol, sugar..to give me my energy back, and then going on yo-yo diets to lose the extra fat I gained from them, I finally discovered yoga-meditation for relaxation and energy, workout for strength and muscle tone, healthier eating habits with balance of nutrients, and finally Ayurveda for better digestion and longevity.
Using all these techniques, now I feel the best version of my self, at the age of almost 50, going through menopause.
I am stronger, more fit, energetic, lighter and know how to heal my gut, skin, hair, sleep, mental health, cognitive functions etc with natural methods.

My Training and Certifications
I am a graduate of 2 years in Psychology and 4 years in Business. I am a certified Integrative Nutrition Healthy Living Coach, Yoga Alliance RYT 500 hours Yoga Teacher and YACEP Trainer.
I received my wellness coaching training at Integrative Nutrition in New York City where I had the opportunity to learn from the world’s leading experts in the field of holistic health and nutrition.
I am also certified for Mindful Eating and Yoga, from “Am I Hungry?” Mindful Eating Programs with Doctor Michelle May.
I am a certified Ayurvedic Integrative Nutrition coach from Vedawise with Laura Plumb and certified with Divya Alter at Bhavagat Life on Ayurvedic Nutrition and Culinary Program.
My Yoga Story
I started yoga in 2003 when I got pregnant for my first son. I continued to be yoga student until 2015, to help my lower back pain due to herniated disks and neck pain due to years of wrong posture while sitting at office or driving for hours in Istanbul’s traffic!
Finally, seeing all the amazing benefits of yoga for my body, mind and spirit, I decided to become a yoga teacher and got my 400 Hour Hatha and Power Yoga Teacher Trainings in Switzerland, 100 Hour Hatha Antastha in Goa, India. Then 100hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training on Body Reading and Anatomy in Nyon, Switzerland with Yogalife school.
I also did 100 Hours of Advanced Training and 50 Hours of Yoga Nidra training in India.
Currently I am about to finish a course on Menopause Yoga with Petra Coveney, to help my students deal with menopause symptoms with yoga postures, breathing and meditation and other techniques.
Healthy, Empowered, Inspirational Women
Alongside my busy health coaching practice and yoga teaching, I am a mother of two boys plus two pets, wife, writer for my Fit & Gourmet blog. As a Yoga teacher and Wellness Coach I work with busy women to empower them on their journey to create a happy and healthy body, spirit and family life.
My dharma is to support women in their wellness journey with yoga, Ayurveda and holistic coaching, to nourish, balance and uplift themselves, to find peace, harmony and joy in their body, mind and spirit.
Life Before Coaching!
Prior to my coaching life, I worked in the marketing departments of international companies in the food and beverages industry for more than 15 years and did many new product launches and campaigns in food and beverage industry.
I was a busy working mom, trying to manage my time among my family, house, work, sports, friends…you probably know the story!
I changed so many habits that I would never think that I could!
I was drinking almost a liter of Diet Coke, 3-4 cups of coffee, plus some black tea. I loved eating cheese and breads/crackers in the afternoon and always snacked in between meals with my “diet crackers”!
Tried so many diets and usually disappointed with the results.
I had a sedentary lifestyle, had no or just a little time to exercise. I did my best for a healthier living yet struggled to keep it consistent.
PRE-MENOPAUSE AND BEYOND
When I was in my early 40s I started having hormonal changes due to menopause knockings on my door! I have had new challenges like sleep, stress, weight gain, foggy brain and concentration, lack of motivation for life.
Through my coaching and yoga trainings, I finally know and apply these natural techniques which help me to enjoy a healthier lifestyle, consistent and pleasurable for myself and my family.
Now I have a daily and weekly routine where I integrated workouts, yoga-meditation, self-care, Ayurvedic cooking, herbs, teas, massages, walks, hikes and many other healthier habits that help me go through the new phase of life in the next chapter of my 50s.
I hope I can inspire and motivate you to do these for your life, too.
